Quickbooks Pro 2006 accounting software by Intuit is a financial accounts package for small business. It is multi-company (no extra charges per company) and multi-user ready. In addition it handles multi currency book-keeping very nicely, as well as complete time and job-costing accounts. It offers Estimating and the ability to generate a proforma invoice.


All the layouts of templates (PO, Estimates, invoices, Statements) can be customised easily. If you want you can add your logo, or even choose a different invoice format depending who you're selling/quoting.

There is good integration with Microsoft Excel for export and import of data.

Another useful one is the Pending Sales report: great for those sales that might come in - but the money isnt in yet. In a second you can run a tabular summary report by period - so you can review month on month progress.
