I have been using Archicad supplied by Axonware for 15 years. Archicad is an intuitive and powerful application for architects, transitioning from 2D cad to Archicad has saved a significant amount of drawing time, particularly when making changes to drawings. The ability to send clients the 3D model in BIMx format for them to explore on the free viewer app has lead to clients enthusiastically buying in to the designs at an early stage.

ArchiCAD is an exceptional product that continually enhances with each annual updated version. It significantly saves time in our office operations. Clients are consistently impressed with the results it produces and the integration with Bimx. Service between Axonware and Graphisoft UK is excellent.

As an experienced Revit user with an insistence for drawing accuracy and clean drawing production, making the transition to a more design focused CAD software from Autodesk Revit was initially jarring with regard to legacy functionality in Autodesk software. I have found ArchiCad a welcome addition to our office. As someone who previously used 3D software like Revit and Sketch-Up I am very satisfied with how much more user friendly and easy it is to come up with results. The outcome of the 3Ds and line drawings are great. Learning this software has also been great with starting off with online tutorials to being able to ring the helpline with any outstanding modelling queries. Would recommend to anyone experienced or beginner.

To the point software with very good tutorials that assist with adjusting from using 'other' modelling softwares. Perpetual license option is also a huge benefit over being tied into a monthly/annual subscription.

I moved to a new job in summer of 2017 and was very nervous that the company did not use AutoCad. I was amazed at how user friendly Archicad is and how easily I made the transition. Archicad takes a lot of work out of drawing as once you have your floor plans drawn it automatically generates your elevations and sections for you and should your floor plan change, No Problem! Everything changes with it. I would highly recommend any company to embrace 3D and choose Archicad as an alternative to other similar products on the market.

Archicad is a substantial and well developed BIM package. All the time spent learning the package properly and developing good templates will pay off later. The 3D aspect is really powerful. SketchUp might be great but it does not deliver 2 D drawings and does not change along with the project unless you update it separately. With Archicad you merge the 3D and 2D requirements
