QuickBooks Online is a simple easy to use Cloud Accounting solution. It is very suitable for users on a MAC or Android device or Windows users who want a simple accounting solution with no fuss.
QuickBooks Online Essentials (12 Month Subscription) is a financial accounts solution for small or medium Irish businesses. Essentials doesnt allow for Stock, POs or Budgets. (You'll need QB Plus!)

You might want to might weigh up whether to choose the Irish edition of QuickBooks Online (QBO) AND/OR the UK edition
Note if Irish customers are moving from QuickBooks Desktop - you cannot export transactional data to the IRISH edition of QuickBooks Online (QBO). You will have to start off the with opening balances as a specific date.
Users of QuickBooks Desktop can only export to the UK version of QBO.
It is a good idea to do a FILE-REBUILD and VERIFY and also check the time as to when moving to QBO UK edition.

Generally it is a good idea to do a parallel run before switching over.
