I have been using ProgeCAD for over ten years and just updated to the new 2026 version, which seems to be very smooth to use. You can open many different versions of DWG files with no problems at all. From my point of view this a much better and also more cost effective option to AutoCad and its ridiculous subscription payment model. I like having a stand alone single licence which gives me the option to have the software on my desktop for main w
